For office and remote work
Your neck has been holding your head forward since nine this morning.
Desk Reset is one eight-minute session a day for the part of you that takes the load of screen work: the neck, the shoulders, and an upper back that has not changed shape in six hours. No equipment, no floor space beyond standing next to your chair.
Take the quiz — 2 minutesA typical workday of 8 hours of sitting, shown next to one 8-minute Osvela session drawn at the same scale.
Desk Reset is the accent mark. Eight minutes against a working day, once a day.
00:00Is this you?
If three of these sound familiar, you are the person this was built for
- Your neck feels tight by mid-afternoon and worse by the time you close the laptop
- You catch yourself with your chin pushed forward toward the screen
- Your shoulders sit up near your ears and you only notice when someone points it out
- Rolling your shoulders back feels good for about forty seconds
- The tightness is worse on days with back-to-back video calls
- You have a standing desk and it did not fix it
00:02What the plan covers
Where the eight minutes go
Upper back that actually moves
Rotation and extension through the mid-back, which is the part that stops moving first and hands its work to your neck.
Shoulder blades off the shelf
Simple positions that get the shoulder blades gliding again rather than parked and braced.
Neck without the cracking
Slow, controlled range work. Nothing that involves yanking your own head, because that is not what makes a neck feel better.
A breath that is not shallow
Two minutes of paced breathing, which changes rib position and does more for a tight upper back than most people expect.
- Breathe and set up1 min
- Upper back and ribs3 min
- Neck and shoulders3 min
- Settle1 min
- Total8 min
00:04What a day looks like
It takes up one slot and then gets out of the way
- 11:00
A reminder arrives at the time you chose in the quiz. One reminder. It does not nag.
- 11:01
You stand up next to your desk and open the session. It plays through — video, plus text if the sound is off because you are in an open office.
- 11:09
You sit back down. That is the whole thing. Nothing is logged for you to feel guilty about later.

About Desk Reset
Can I do this in an office without looking strange?
Yes — that was a design constraint. Everything in Desk Reset is done standing beside a chair or seated in it. Nothing needs the floor.
I already have a standing desk. Is this redundant?
No. A standing desk swaps one fixed position for another fixed position. The point here is changing shape, not choosing a better shape to hold all day.
What if my neck actually hurts, not just feels tight?
See a clinician first. Osvela is general movement content, not treatment, and pain that is sharp, radiating, or new deserves a proper look.
This is not a medical service. Osvela is general movement and mobility content — not a diagnosis, treatment, or physiotherapy. If you have pain that is sharp, radiating, or new, or you are recovering from injury or surgery, talk to a clinician before you start.
The quiz decides whether Desk Reset is actually the right one for you
Sixteen questions, about two minutes. If your answers point somewhere else, it will tell you that instead — and show you why.
