For long sitters and drivers
The stiffness starts in your hips. Your lower back just gets the bill.
Lower Back Reset is one eight-minute session a day for people who sit for a living — at a desk, in a cab, on a long commute. Hips first, then the lower back, because that is the order the problem is built in.
Take the quiz — 2 minutesA typical workday of 8 hours of sitting, shown next to one 8-minute Osvela session drawn at the same scale.
Lower Back Reset is the accent mark. Eight minutes against a working day, once a day.
00:00Is this you?
If three of these sound familiar, you are the person this was built for
- Standing up after a long stretch of sitting takes a second before you are upright
- The first few steps out of the car are noticeably worse than the rest
- Your lower back aches by evening but feels fine when you wake up
- Sitting cross-legged on one side is much easier than the other
- Bending to pick something off the floor is something you now think about
- Long drives leave you stiff for the rest of the day
00:02What the plan covers
Where the eight minutes go
Hips that give something back
Hip flexors and glutes, which spend the day shortened and switched off respectively, and which your lower back compensates for.
Lower back range, gently
Controlled flexion, extension and rotation through a range you actually own — not the biggest range you can force.
A version you can do beside a car
Every session has a standing variation, because a driver is not going to lie on a mat at a service station.
Loading, not just stretching
Stretching a stiff back feels good and lasts an hour. Light loading is what makes the change hold.

00:04What a day looks like
It takes up one slot and then gets out of the way
- 16:30
The reminder lands at the slot you picked — for a lot of drivers that is the end of a shift rather than the middle of one.
- 16:31
Standing next to the car or the desk, you work through the session. Eight minutes, phone propped somewhere.
- 16:39
Done. Tomorrow it is a slightly different session, because doing the same eight minutes for six weeks stops doing anything.

About Lower Back Reset
Will this fix a herniated disc or sciatica?
We are not going to answer that, because it would be a medical claim and we are not qualified to make one. If you have a diagnosis, take it to the clinician who gave it to you before starting anything.
Do I need a mat or floor space?
No. Every session has a standing variation designed for beside a chair or a car door.
I drive for eight hours a day. Is eight minutes really enough?
Eight minutes a day is not going to undo eight hours. What it does is stop the day ending in the same shape it started, and it is short enough that you will still do it on day forty.
This is not a medical service. Osvela is general movement and mobility content — not a diagnosis, treatment, or physiotherapy. If you have pain that is sharp, radiating, or new, or you are recovering from injury or surgery, talk to a clinician before you start.
The quiz decides whether Lower Back Reset is actually the right one for you
Sixteen questions, about two minutes. If your answers point somewhere else, it will tell you that instead — and show you why.
